Author of the book "Riding the Bus with My Sister"

Author Rachel Simon's developmentally disabled sister Beth began riding city buses to counteract loneliness. This book chronicles the year that Simon spent riding with her, and how the journey changed them both. Simon, a creative-writing instructor at Bryn Mawr College, will share her thoughts about transit and its important role in the community, and will be available to sign copies of her book.
