Race Car Day July 30, 2008

The Franklin Institute presents a fun day of activities exploring the science behind race cars. A number of cars from area racetracks and organizations will be on display, and assorted related workshops and activities will take place within the Institute. Veteran NASCAR driver Bill Lester will be dropping in to discuss his sport, as will 14 year-old junior drag racer Dimetrious Morris of Yeadon. In addition, the animated film 'Cars' will be screened in the theater.
