Equal parts early '70s hard rock and late '70s punk, Queens of the Stone Age are one of the leading bands of the stoner rock movement. Biffy Clyro are the Scottish trio Simon Neil, James Johnston and Ben Johnston. Their sound is described as a heavy but melodic mixture of guitar, bass and drums, with all three band members contributing to vocals. They are known for complex and interwoven guitar picks, strums and melodies, that change many times within each song.
