Queens Chapter of PFLAG Annual Awards Luncheon Celebration December 2, 2007

Please join the members, families and friends of The Queens Chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) for their Annual Awards Luncheon Celebration as they salute people who have made a positive difference in the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People, their families, their friends and their community.

During the luncheon the following awards will be presented:

* the 15th Annual Morty Manford Award (http://pflag-queens.org/morty.html) will be presented to Ari Gershman (http://pflag-queens.org/bio-2007.html#ari) Secretary of the Queens Lesbian Gay Pride Committee (QLGPC)

* the 11th Annual Carmel Tavadia Memorial Award (http://pflag-queens.org/carmel.html) will be presented to José R. Peralta (http://pflag-queens.org/bio-2007.html#jose) New York State Assemblyman (39th Queens Assembly District)

* the 3nd Annual Brenda Howard Memorial Award (http://pflag-queens.org/brendahoward.html) will be presented to Wendy Moscow (http://pflag-queens.org/bio-2007.html#wendy) Queen's native, long time Bisexual LGBT Community Activist who amoung her other acomplishments was one of the founders of the Queens Lesbian and Gay Pride Committee, she was co-chair of the March Committee from its inception until 2001 and was proud to serve as a 2006 Grand Marshal.

Tickets for the Fundraiser are $55 or $500 for a table that seats 10.
