Put Peckham on OpenStreetMap June 3, 2009

Open to everyone whether you are already an active member of the openstreetmap community or just curious to find out more about the project. Have a go at mapping (e.g. with a pencil & a printout), or just come along and join us in the pub!

OpenStreetMap is a project to create a map released with an open content license. It's created by people like you. We need your help!

On the Evening of Wednesday 3rd June we'll be heading to Peckham, and aiming to gather gather some map information in the area. At around 8p.m. we'll meet up in the pub.

When you get there, look out for people with GPS units/maps, or funky white OSM baseball caps. Also make a note of this: Contact: Shaun McDonald 07879610632

Before that though, we'll be arriving in the area at around 6:30 to do some mapping. If you're interested in joining in with that, check the website details.

The website currently shows details of the upcoming Kilburn mapping evening, which you're also welcome to come along to! We'll update the site with more Peckham info after that
