Guests from all backgrounds are invited to attend Purim Palooza, a free carnival celebrating the Jewish holiday Purim. Presented by the Osher Marin JCC in collaboration with Congregations Rodef Sholom and Kol Shofar, Brandeis Hillel Day School and in association with other Jewish organizations including The PJ Library, Chabad and Hazon, Purim Palooza includes games, bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, arts and crafts, holiday storytelling and live music. All are invited to come in costume and there will be a costume parade.

Everything is free and open to the public. Food will be for sale, including Hamantashen, the traditional three-corned cookie filled with something sweet (chocolate, jam, poppy seeds or prunes). The triangle shape symbolizes the three-cornered hat of the villain in the Purim story, Haman. One tradition of Purim is to give freely to those in need. Please bring at least one can or package of food, which will be donated to the Jewish Family and Children Services Food Pantry.
