This soothing workshop is a gentle journey into the profoundly therapeutic style of Yin yoga. These long held passive poses will lubricate the joints and connective tissues of your body, stimulate the pranic (energy) rivers housed within, and bring the body-mind into a state of deep relaxation. Our shared intention will be to expand the capacity to soften and open to ourselves amidst the pleasant and unpleasant conditions that arise within us (and are inherent in this human experience). The powerful practices of pranayama (breath), mhetta (loving kindness) and awareness will be woven throughout.

This workshop is open to all levels and promises to be deeply rejuvenative.

For more information, read the Yin article featuring Dina in Yoga Journal's July 2008 issue. Find it hanging in the Yoga Tree studios or online at yogajournal.com
