Founder and Creative Director Sonya Duffin began Pure Dance as an outlet for accomplished and professional dancers in portland to train, hone choreography skills, and offer the opportunity of sharing their artistry with the Portland area. Through a wide variety of choreography styles, innovative production approaches, and an apprenticeship program, Pure Dance has cemented itself as a force in the Portland area dance scene.
