Pure Dance Company presents: "HONOR" September 16, 2010

Pure Dance Company, Inc. presents the Portland premiere of "HONOR," an homage to the arts. Through athletic and expressive movement, Pure Dance spotlights and explores the distinctive creative process of various art forms. The show will run for four evening performances on September 11, 16, 17, 18 at 7:30 pm, and one matinee performance on September 12 at 2:00 pm at the World Trade Center Auditorium, 121 SW Salmon Street, Building 2.
With their forthcoming show, "HONOR," Pure Dance seeks to celebrate art and the creative process. Painting, Sculpture, Poetry, Photography, Digital Media, Creative Writing and Music, combined and explored---take a moment from your life to stop and honor art---how it enriches our culture and society, and inspires all of us.

Pure Dance Company, Inc. was founded in 2004 with the mission of creating unique artistry while its members establish technique and a clear sense of professionalism. Founder and Creative Director Sonya Duffin began Pure Dance Company as an outlet for accomplished dancers to train, hone choreography skills, and offer the opportunity to share their artistry with the Portland area. Through a wide variety of choreography styles, innovative production approaches, and an apprenticeship program, Pure Dance has cemented itself as a force in the Portland area dance scene.
