Pune Design Festival 2008 invites all students to participate in doing your bit for your city! Innovate to bring change in your life! Make your environment more enjoyable!

Pune Design Foundation believes that design has to be deployed at all levels. As one of its many initiatives in this direction PDF organizes an Annual Student Design Competition. We are pleased to announce this year’s categories for the competition.
1. On-the-spot Design Competition for School Students

India’s first on the spot ‘design’ competition for school students!!!

Students will be given a topic on which they will have to Design a product in the stipulated 3 hours.

“Design to Build” invites proposals to design for the new India. We welcome entries that are innovative, enterprising and revolutionary. The idea should relate to the environment- culturally, geographically and socio-economically. As the cities are expanding and becoming more crowded there is a growing need for better public amenities on our roads. Design the ‘Traffic Police Booth’ which gives the Traffic Police a comfort zone in addition to giving a fresh new look to this temporary abode. Think of innovative methods to make this booth user-friendly, comforting and pleasing to look at.
3. DESIGN TO COMMUNICATE

A Poster Design Competition for all students.
