Public Workshop for the South Dade Watershed Study:Your Opportunity to Shape South Dade, Protect Biscayne Bay and Biscayne National Park and Create a Better Future!

This study is a road map for future development that seeks to achieve environmental, economic, and socialsustainability in southern Miami-Dade county.

The outcome of the study could determine where the Urban Development Boundary (the “UDB”) will be movedbetween now and the year 2050 or sooner, and will identify what areas will be protected from development.

Will we protect our vibrant communities, the farming and open space heritage of South Dade or will we build out completely like Broward County until no farmlands, wetlands, or open lands remain?

What can you do? This is our community. Voice your concerns at the workshop on October 13 and please show up to support A PLAN THAT PROTECTS OUR BAY, OPEN LANDS, FARMLAND, AND THAT DOES NOT DO AWAY WITH THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT BOUNDARY or hand the county over to big developers.
