Play By Richard Rosen
May 6th- May 28th, 2005 (Call or visit the web site for Showtimes)

The idea came from Minneapolis. When we called to look at a script they laughed and suggested we create our own. This play was originally a collaboration between the Children's theatre of Minneapolis (the Nation's largest, winner of last years regional Tony) and a company that produces original work. All of us remember our proms. The Magik Theatre will create a multi- dimensional trip through time and space, taking us back to the proms of the good old days and the proms of today. The audience will dress up in their favorite Prom clothing, dancing to the music of passing generations, and mirroring the changes that the teens of America have gone through over the last fifty years. As interactive as the audience wishes to make it, this prom will get you involved in design and decorations. It will invite you to choose the music and help make sure that everyone attends. Each performance will be unique; never the same. Did you always want to be the Prom King or Queen? Well, this is your chance. Did you always want to help Carry achieve revenge? Pitch in and join us for an extravaganza like you've never experienced. Get out that old phone book and call the person whose number you couldn't dial. Get your friends together and get involved. THE PROM, LIKE NO OTHER!
