Project YouthView, now in its fourth year, is a premier Bay Area event that celebrates the power of youth through film.
Hosted at the beautiful Auctions By The Bay Theater in Alameda, the evening will feature:

* Eight youth-created film shorts from around the Bay Area, selected by youth, community and expert judges.

* The powerful feature film Darius Goes West, winner of 25 awards.

* Intermission including wine, refreshments and a chance to meet the filmmakers. Coffee and dessert to follow the show.

* Chance to vote on an Audience Choice Awards of $500 and $100.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Alternatives in Action (AIA), a youth development organization based at Alameda Point.
AIA's three core programs are: BASE High School, a public charter school; HOME Sweet Home, a fully-licensed preschool;
and HOME Project, an afterschool and summer leadership program.
