A FREE afternoon of Music, Dance, Poetry, a Soul Food Collation and the History of "Blacks in the U.S. Armed Services." Dating back to the Pre-Revolutionary War Period to the Current Wars in Afganistan & Iraq. Guest Speaker is Major General Joseph Carter the first African American General of the Massachusetts National Guard. The 54th Regiment and the Colored Ladies Auxillary in full Civil War Regalia. Members of each branch of the armed services will be represented, as well as members of the Tuskegee Airman. There will be vendors selling art, jewerly, clothing, books etc. A quiz with special prizes for the youth in attendance.
