Seven acres of monkey and apes! This facility is home to extremely social primates both large and small. There are tree-dwelling monkeys in the open-air wire mesh tents and monkeys play and climb on twisting vines, and drink from the cool streams. The gorillas roam freely in their one-acre exhibit. Watch as they climb ropes and take afternoon hammock naps in one of the most expansive gorilla habitats in the world. Also enjoy The Jewels of the Emerald Forest pavilion which features a meandering trail through a series of diorama replicas showing four primate environments: Malagasy, South American forest floor and forest canopy as well as primates of the night. In the Great Apes building, you will see orangutans western lowland gorillas. There is also a Forest Aviary and much more.
