The Known Unknowns have been described as "leviathans with piercing guitars, jerky vocals and demonic bass lines" (Gigwise) and write spiky distinctive and inventive songs about misinformation, drinking, kerb-crawlers, jargon, singer-songwriters, ambulance chasers, hyperbole, why being in a band is rubbish and vacuum cleaning. Square was a musical trio from Lincoln, Nebraska who moved to Southern California in early 2000. Their sound has been described as including elements of rock, pop and jazz fusion.
