"It's no shocker that NY's own electro-clash Svengali, DJ and club impresario, Larry Tee is releasing the debut EP from this fresh-from-the-streets-electro-rock act on his label DJs Are Not Rockstars. A combination of Lower East Side rock chick, '80s Madonna, South American hipster and global jetsetter, Saona has that effortless star quality that sets some electro-rockers a few nothches higher right off the bat. The band has the potential to break electro-rock in the mainstream--they could give the Ting Tings a run for their money." Time Out Chicago Formed in 2006 by Bella Saona(from Brazil) and Steve Narvaez(from Ecuador) The Fire and Reason(TFaR) have made their beats harder, their basslines dirtier and their songs even more decadent than in previous incarnations. Imagine a rabid Karen O singing over tracks written by MSTRKRFT and remixed by JUSTICE! In a major coup TFaR got Parisian THE TOXIC AVENGER to remix their infectious hit "NME", and really put a BIG STOMP in the electro-dance world. Singing in both Spanish (Mi Corazon) and Portuguese (Preste Atençao) TFaR remain true to their Latin roots.

The Fire and Reason have also been discovered by the world of TV and Film and have landed placements in various upcoming projects. From movies to reality shows, their unique blend of ROCK to Baile Funk to Electro-POP Dance, never fails to disappoint or surprise the listener. Their aptly titled vampire anthem "Teeth" is being used in the upcoming DMX, Michael Madsen, and Vinnie Jones, film "The Bleeding". If this all wasn't exciting enough The Fire and Reason just won the coveted NewNowNext Award for Brink of Fame: Music Artist beating out artist such as: Lykkie Li, Morningwood, LMFAO, Ladyhawke, & Sam Sparro!
