Lecture by the Rev. Dr. Paul Sherry, coordinator of the Let Justice Roll Living Wage Campaign. He is also the coordinator of the anti-poverty program of the National Council of Churches USA and the former president of the United Church of Christ.

Dr. Sherry will discuss the problem of poverty, why people of faith should care about overcoming poverty, and discuss solutions to poverty with a special focus on good, fair wages. In particular, he will bring us up to speed with what is going on in states around the country to raise the minimum wage and what is happening at the federal level to raise the minimum wage.
