Portsmouth International Kite Festival 2009 August 30, 2009

Portsmouth International Kite Festival will take place on Southsea Common from the 29th - 31st of August for the 18th time and will be bigger and better than ever.

A huge range of guests will attend, both old favourites and new discoveries. Highlights will include:

An amazing array of soft inflatable kites, from giant salamanders, to awe inspiring jesters and devils

Beautiful artistic creations by celebrated kite fliers from all over the world, including award winning intricately appliquéd kites.

Skilled team flying by champion two line fliers, displaying in fantastic routines set to music.
