Portraits of Flight August 26, 2011

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of naval aviation, the Intrepid Museum is partnering with the American Society of Aviation Artists (ASAA) to present an exhibition of some of the finest examples of naval aviation art. This exhibition will consist of approximately 24 paintings by ASAA artists. In addition, a coordinated educational component will allow Museum visitors of all ages to appreciate and absorb the early trials, advancements and accomplishments of the U.S. Navy from 1911 to the present.
