Based on David Blume's new book on alcohol fuel titled "Alcohol Can Be A Gas!", debuting in September 2006, his talk covers the hidden history of alcohol and its use as the first auto fuel. He covers the positive environmental aspects of alcohol such as reversing global warming, eliminating virtually all air pollution from vehicles, and how, if designed properly, it can save the family farm while building soil fertility.

Blume's book is the first authoritative how-to book on alcohol written in the last 100 years. He clearly demonstrates alcohol fuel production on both small scale and large scale using a wide variety of material ranging from waste donuts to crops like corn result in alcohol at less than $1 per gallon. Blume dispels the propaganda and myths promoted about alcohol fuel such as energy return, food vs. fuel, effects on vehicles and far more. Blume is also a longtime activist who proposes driver owned fuel stations that contract with farmers to produce alcohol fuel.
