Portland City Club New Leaders to discuss what it takes to be “young and elected”

New Leaders Council invites you to attend “Young and Elected,” a discussion with Gresham Mayor Shane Bemis. In 2007, at age 34, Bemis became the youngest mayor to serve the city of Gresham, Oregon 's fourth largest city.



Learn about Bemis' vision for Gresham, explore what it takes to win an election and consider the unique perspective young leaders can bring to public policy decisions.
