Portland Bridal Show January 16, 2010

The Portland Bridal Show in its 31st year, gathers more than 150 businesses, creating a festive, face-to-face wedding marketplace. Brides, grooms and parents can sample cakes, explore limos, consider honeymoon destinations, and meet with caterers, DJs, photographers, florists and hair stylists. Couples can check out invitations and ice sculptures, gift registries and reception entertainment. Purveyors' prices range from low to luxe.

The star of the weekend is a 70-minute fashion show, staged five times over the two days. The choreographed extravaganza is held in the center of the exhibit hall, with seating for 1,200. It's an upbeat tour through 2010 bridal fashions, formalwear and floral styles.
