Jimmy Edgar (Warp Records) is making his "Pornography" debut on Wednesday the 5TH of December. Hosted at Pianos, a downtown New York City hot-spot, that has been the "Pornography" home base since June 2007. Since its inception, this weekly party has featured a slew of internationally acclaimed DJs including DJ Wool (the Glass), Mike Dextro, Ole (diesel and raw), Krikor (kill the dj/france), DJ Ulysses, Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke (the Smiths), Gregg Foreman (Cat Power), Jesse Murphy (brazilian girls), and many others.



In December, Pornography will take it back to its basic elements with Techno, Electro, cheap drinks and mash-ups. A sweaty rave party with a legal capacity of under 150 is just what many young New Yorkers were missing on a Wednesday night where Jimmy's antics will foreshadow things to come in 2008 like "Color Strip", his first Warp full length, a massive world tour, and New York City's electronic redemption.
