Porcupine Tree was born in 1987 as an outlet for the home studio explorations of Steven Wilson, the singer/guitarist best known for his work with Tim Bowness as No-Man. Embracing and exploring progressive rock inspirations while always keeping an ear out for newer musical connections, Porcupine Tree has created some noteworthy albums and songs, with an ever changing list of musicians involved.

Last night's Porcupine Tree show was one of the best concerts in my 35 year career of concert going. They organized a fantastic play list, complete with old and new material, a light show and video additions that served each song perfectly. It is high time for this talented group of musicians to be recognized after so many years of making great music, music that really speaks to us on a deep soul level. A special thank you to the band for a night of pure bliss!
