'Pope Joan' is a compelling new play by BU alumna Michelle Poynton that recounts the scandal surrounding the ninth century German woman who, legend has it, disguised herself as a man and rose to rule Christianity for two years. Each performance will be followed by an interactive talk-back with the director, playwright and cast.
