The Most Important Race in Manhattan Is Also Its Best Kept Secret. Help re-elect a progressive legend and staunch anti-death penalty advocate who continues to fight with passion for a reduction in white collar crime, while using innovative technologies with DNA to put away domestic abusers and identity thieves. The Democratic primary is less than a month away, so we are kicking into high gear for a massive Get Out The Vote campaign, and we are counting on you to ensure that every voter in the city knows to re-elect Bob Morgenthau. We can send on message on September 13th that New Yorkers want a District Attorney who will continue to stand up to pro-death penalty activists and corporate criminals, but we need your help to mount an aggressive field operation.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE-

1) HIT THE PHONES.
Directly speaking with voters is fun, and we'll be calling thousands of them as we prepare for Election day. We provide lists of interested Democrats and a script, and we need people every evening and every weekend between now and September 13. Bring your friends, and help spread the word.

2) GREET VOTERS ON THE GROUND.
Leaflet distribution is an essential GOTV activity. Whether it?s with a local organization, a friend, or as part of an integrated visibility blitz, distributing leaflets and talking to voters is one of our most effective means of outreach. Leaflets are available at our office- we?ll help you find events, join others, and get trained on how to leaflet most effectively.
