MS. RENATA DURDA is a specialist in domestic violence and the director of Niebieska Linia, “The Blue Line”, a group working with the victims of domestic violence affiliated with the Institute of the Psychology of Health of the Polish Society of Psychologists (www.niebieskalinia.pl ). For twelve years she worked on education and social campaigns for the State Agency to Solve Alcohol Problems, serving five years as vice-director. For the past ten years she has edited the bimonthly Blue Line, a journal devoted to issues of violence in interpersonal relationships, the first of its kind in Poland.
DR. IRENEUSZ KACZMARCZYK, a sociologist works as an educator and trainer. He is the editor-in-chief of Terapia Uzaleznienia I Wspoluzalenznienia (Dependency Therapy and Co- Dependency.) He leads many trainings and workshops on interpersonal relations, communication, assertiveness and teamwork. His interests include organizational cultures, management, and workplace relations. A member of the Association of Polish Writers, he has published six books of poetry.
