Poker Fundraiser for Supported Housing September 19, 2009

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, Yolo Community Care Continuum will be holding its first ever Poker Night & Jewelry Exchange. We hope you will attend our event with your best poker face! Ages 21 and up only.

Event Details:
Music, drinks, and finger foods will be provided to all poker guests. Please bring your unwanted jewelry and be prepared to loot the jewels of others at the end of the poker tournament. Prizes will be given to the first place winner of the ladies and of the lads.

All tickets are $50, with $40 as your charitable contribution to YCCC’s services (Fair Market Value = $10). You will receive $50 in poker chips and can opt to purchase more if you start off unlucky.

We’ll have “cheat sheets” for those who are rusty or don’t know how to play the game. Are you ready to rumble? Let the games begin!

Yolo Community Care Continuum (YCCC) is a 501(c)3, tax exempt nonprofit organization established to better the lives of people with mental illness through direct services, advocacy, education and volunteer efforts.

Who Benefits?
Proceeds from our event will benefit adults with a severe mental illness such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder in our Supported Housing Program. YCCC strives to excel as a dynamic presence in our community. Our goal is to provide client driven services which assist people to attain the highest level of mental health possible.
