"The CESAR Sustainability Committee is proud to present the Toronto Wildlife, Ryerson's first sustainability fashion show. This is no laughing matter, as this event comes full circle with everything from Trashy Showgirl Lingerie to Elegant Ball Gown Dresses.

Opening with a brief panel discussion and closing with a post show soiree, expect the best in local organic wine and hors d'oeuvres. Not to mention a themed Showcase of sustainable fashion and design (do notice the beautiful brilliance behind the Interior Design Installations... and we're not talking about the trees.) Promising to draw influential members of the Toronto fashion and design community, this event intends to encourage the discussion of sustainability within the Toronto community.

These designs incorporate the use of materials from the natural environment, repurposed second hand material, found objects and textiles that show the potential for sustainable development. The event features designs by students of the Ryerson School of Fashion and the Ryerson School of Interior Design.

This project was intended to create a dynamic set of interactions with the project participants, communities, and environments involved in an effort to illustrate the nature and complexity involved in developing sustainable design systems and solutions. The individuals involved have worked both independently and collectively to develop an event that has immeasurable potential. In future years, you can look forward to the exploration of renewable energy, experimental materials, as well as new production methods and techniques.

We would like to thank you for being a part of this extraordinary event."
