The 1992 surf-narc movie "Point Break" is undeniably amazing, but
most people probably wouldn't point to the script as its source of genius. The inspired casting of Patrick Swayze as very spiritual surfer Bodhi Sattva and Keanu Reeves as former football star turned undercover cop Johnny Utah - not to mention the always insane Gary Busey - made for quite a movie. But starting in Seattle in 2003, "Point Break Live!" has put the onus on the audience to generate that same kind of greatness. The Johnny Utah character is selected from the audience every night, and the scenes are read from cue cards. Ponchos are handed out at the start of the show: What goes down onstage is messy.
