The first PODER Green Forum is part of a series of events and conferences PODER Magazine has developed as a complement to the monthly publication of the magazine to further the discussion of industry trends and market opportunities presented to its readers.

These events seek to create an intellectually stimulating environment for a significant group of leaders across several areas of interest. During the events, attendees build new relationships, interact with previous acquaintances and gain constructive insight from discussions that tackle vital topics related to their organizations and the achievement of the objectives in a continuously evolving environment.

THEME
Transforming personal commitment into public leadership that will result in a healthy, just, and competitive society is essential to sustaining robust economic development in a global setting. Reconciling economic development and the wise management of our environment remains a challenge to many government and corporate leaders.

Environmental protection and the conservation of our natural resources are increasingly drawing the attention of governments, citizens, and corporations. As a result, many are now recognizing a collective responsibility to maintain sustainable economic vitality while encouraging environmental accountability.

The 2007 PODER Green Forum will present a setting propitious to the exchange of ideas, to detail untapped economic opportunities and to showcase profitable businesses that have benefi ted from a sustainable economic model.

The day-long event will feature experts from the fields of science and economics along with government, environ- mental advocates, business and civic leaders in order to address the question of how to improve the global environment without forsaking economic prosperity.
