Plotting the Brighton Digital Festival May 29, 2007

The Brighton Digital Festival takes place over the whole of November 2007.

We're holding a drop-in session to plot what events might go into the programme: next Tuesday 29 May, 5-8pm, upstairs at The Victory, 6 Duke St, BN1 1AH.

Tara Solesbury (Wired Sussex), Mark Walker (SCIP) and Matt Weston (Business Bricks, Pick Me Up, BarCamp, Think What You Would Do If Only You Had The Money Then Figure Out How You Can Do It Anyway) will be on hand, and anyone else who'd like be involved on any level whatsoever. We’ll be able to explain more in person, but the idea is to help Brighton people use the festival to instigate and put on community events. For example d.Construct started life as a part of the 2005 festival. If you’ve got any kinds of ideas for events or nonevents you’d like to include we might be able to help you find things like venues, funding, equipment, and people like co-organisers, sponsors, attendees.
