Pieces for the Musical Clock April 3, 2009

The musical clock -- a clock with internal pipes and bellows -- was so popular in the late 17th and 18th centuries that such luminaries as Bach, Handel, Mozart, and Haydn composed for it. Celebrated flutist Eugenia Zukerman joins renowned pianist-harpsichordist-organist Anthony Newman in their own inventive interpretations of these wonderful compositions. This concert gives the phrase "as time goes by" an entirely new meaning!
