Picnic Concert, Battle Re-enactment and Family Fun Day June 25, 2011

The Chairman of Durham County Council will be presenting veterans badges in ceremonies in County Hall, Durham, whilst outside there will be family fun activities with a Service theme from the Fire and Police Services, the Safety Services and the Army Cadet Force. Ride in the fire engine, squirt water at targets, try your hand in the driving simulator, or try paintballing and climbing with the Army Cadets. At 4pm bring a picnic and listen to the Band and Bugles of the Durham Army Cadet Force, at 5pm enjoy a battle re-enactment by the 68th Society of the Durham Light Infantry before the band sound retreat and sunset.
