The Indian railway is a vast and well oiled machine that keeps the world’s largest democracy alive and kicking and well connected. Millions of people contribute, often unseen, towards its smooth functioning, but elude our attention because they are a daily sight. This show of photographs attempts to place these unsung heroes center stage, whether it’s a face in the crowd or the blur of a uniform.
