Philip Solomon is an acclaimed experimental filmmaker and professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder. His short films explore memory and evoke a powerful world of dreams. Combining personal and found footage, composing soundtracks from collaged music and sound, Solomon re-photographs, edits and chemically manipulates his films to create intense visual poems. They are intimate in scale but epic in feel, emotion and meaning. For this installation, Solomon will create a site-specific, multiple projector video installation for the Corcoran's Rotunda, entitled 'American Falls.'
