Kellyn Haley has traveled the world as a trombonist and clinician performing with groups such as the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Rome Festival Orchestra, Celebrity Orchestra, New Britain Symphony, Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra, Bellevue Philharmonic, Federal Way Symphony, Seattle Men's Chorus, and the Evergreen Brass. A versatile musician she has accompanied artists such as: Natalie Cole, Jesse Sykes, Debbie Reynolds, Alice in Chains, Lindsey Hamilton, Mark O'Malley, and Enrico Cifiello. As an enthusiastic teacher Kellyn is busy throughout Greater Puget Sound Area as the Low Brass Specialist and Coach of the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association. In addition, she maintains a large private studio of wonderful and successful students, and gives master classes and clinics. Kellyn received her Master of Music degree from Yale where she studied with Scott Hartman and John Swallow. Other teachers include: Alain Trudell, Michael Bequest, Abbie Conant, Roger Bobo, Ronald Barron, and Joe Alessi. When not performing music Kellyn enjoys training in Ch'uan fa Kajukenbo Kung Fu and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and has traveled to Hong Kong to further her training.
