A master of bluegrass, country, and folk music Peter Rowan is a gorgeous singer, great guitar picker and mandolin player, and a tremendously talented songwriter as well. Early in his career he was a member of Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys and since then he’s been extending the boundaries of country, bluegrass, folk, tex mex, hippie rock, and lots more. Among the songs he's written are the classics "Panama Red," "Midnight Moonlight," and "Land of the Navajo." I know Keith Little will be joining Peter Rowan, and I think Jody Stecher will be there as well. Keith will be playing again at The Palms with the Putah Creek Crawdads on Friday January 23. Both should be great shows--we're definitely going!
