Peter Bjorn & John are Peter Moren, Bjorn Yttling and John Eriksson. Formed in Stockholm in 1999, the trio is influenced by the sounds of classic '60s baroque pop, power pop, and new wave. Not considered as revivalists, Peter, Bjorn and John are cited as creating some of the most exciting and original indie rock of the mid-2000s. Originally from Hampshire & now based in London, the trio have fast developed a rabid fan base in the U.S. Signed to Merge Records just as the old century turned to the new, with each new release the band has enjoyed an intensifying groundswell of support from fans across the country. Sold out tours & rave reviews in the press have raised the band's profile both here & in their native UK.
