Pete Carney welds diverse styles and foreign elements together in his music, creating a new urban sound that extends the traditional perception of Jazz. As a hybrid jazz artist, Pete Carney brings a young generation into Jazz by incorporating new beats from Hip Hop, House, and Nu Soul in the DJ generation. Using urban grooves and a Coltrane philosophy, Orange Alert welcomes a dance floor generation that is often unplugged from jazz.
