10 a.m.The Seven Liberal Arts and the Classical Tradition. Location: Lippincott Hall. An inquiry into the Ionic portico and the Daniel Chester French bronze.

11 a.m.?Make our garden grow.? Location: Twente Hall. The campus as garden, sculptures, and the Prairie Acre.

12 noon Memory, the Muses, and the Liberal Arts and Sciences. Location: Watson Library and then across campus to Murphy Hall. Inquiries into a glass pyramid, Romanesque Revival, College Gothic and Brutalist buildings.

1 p.m.Lunch and conversation: The Crimson Café in the Burge Union. In the event of inclement weather, we will meet at noon at the Market Place food court in the KU Memorial Union.

2 p.m.?Civilization is measured by the extent to which people obey unenforceable laws. Location: Law School, and then Engineering and Fine Arts.

3 p.m.Of cycles and civilizations. Location: Chi Omega Fountain. The story of Persephone and the Vietnam Memorial.

4. p.m.Of memory, memorials, and the forest of Academe. Location: The Memorial Campanile, and then through Marvin Grove.

5. p.m.Tentative Syntheses and Perspectives. Location: The Arthur D. Weaver Court adjacent to Spooner Hall.
