Why Asian Americans Have No Art History

Gordon Chang, professor of history at Stanford University and co-director of the Stanford Asian American Art Project, will talk about the history of Asian American artists from the mid-nineteenth century to today.

This event is a part of the Lectures in Art and Diaspora: Asian in America series co-sponsored by the Center for Asian American Studies; the Lectures on Art in the Black Diaspora in the Department of Art and Art History, College of Fine Arts; the Blanton Museum of Art; and the Institute for Historical Studies. It will take place in the Blanton Auditorium.
