4 April 2008 7pm to late
5 April 2008 12pm to 4pm

Australian artist, Luke Feldman aka SKAFFS, will be bringing his distinctive and stylish art to his hometown - on Friday 4 April, Nice Produce, Crumpler, Madman, Plasq, Blank Suburbs, Coopers and Miss Libertine set up a night of art, live painting, music, drinks and fun giveaways. This is a show for all art enthusiasts and for those who are inspired by Asian culture. Having exhibited worldwide, Luke will return home to showcase at the Paper Shadow Gallery (free admission) at 34 Franklin Street, Melbourne, his elegant and modern original acrylic and graphite art on wood, ink sketches, digital work and will be painting live.

On 4 and 5 April, the Paper Shadow Gallery will transform into the wonderful world of SKAFFS with life-sized female vinyl adhesives adorning the walls. Luke’s work is synonymous with stunningly beautiful and whimsical depictions of the female form: the large, intense eyes and fluid bodies are strangely erotic. Succumb to the mystery of the SKAFFS world amongst the vibrant colours and quirky creatures.
