San José-based Latino theater companyTeatro Visión closes its 26th season of plays with a World Premiere play from playwright Leonard Madrid.

Leonard’s magical tale follows Perla as she stalls an impending marriage to roam her dreamscapes in an effort to find and save her long-lost father – a renowned womanizer and Norteño singer. Winner of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Latino Playwright Award, Perla explores the power of the subconscious to resolve inner turmoil impenetrable to the waking mind and move us forward to meet our lives.
