Pepperdine Earth Day April 4, 2012

Pepperdine's annual Earth Day will be held in the Joslyn Plaza. Some of the Pepperdine and local community groups at the expo include:

Crown Disposal: Free chocolate covered strawberries
Sodexo: Free organic and vegetarian food samples
Southern California Edison
Department of Public Works Water Conservation
Tree People
Green Team
Pepperdine Bookstore
Student sustainability projects

Some of the other activities include:

E-Waste Recycling (11:00 - 2:00): Drop off your electronic waste in Rho parking lot. Bring anything that has a plug or runs on a battery, and California E-Waste will recycle it.
Community Garden Tour (2:00-3:00):A shuttle will be available in the Smothers parking lot to take attendees for a tour of the Community Garden. Scott Sabin from Plant With Purpose will be leading a convocation at the Community Garden after the tour.
