Saturday at The Good Ship = 5 great bands from 8 to 1130pm and then DJs til 4am. You are not gonna get a night with more variety, a friendlier crowd or as much fun as this anywhere in London tonight. Probably. The crowd is a mix of bands, music fans and weekend ravers. Utterly unpretentious but no Saturday night tracksuit people allowed in. Plus you can get a pint for less than 3 quid, ales are on tap, wine you can drink and none of those plastic glasses that lots of venues seem to specialise in! A ridiculously cheap £5 (or £4 with cut out of this) for entry.

Bands...

Peace In The City presents a night of leftfield, melodic, wordy bands with a nod to The Smiths, Housemartins and Elvis Costello.

Stanislav

Smiths fans who strangely sound a bit like a souped up The Concretes might.

Elena Dana

"intimate & witty prose with original melodies sung in simple expressive style".

After Maurice and Judy DJ from 1130 til 4am playing a mix of latest and classic indie, Motown, ska, funk disco and forgotten pop classics.
