Bring your lawn chair or blanket to Frontier Park for Paws in the Park, an AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day, sponsored by Therapy Dogs United. Vendors, food, Blessing of the Animals, kids activities, live acoustic music, and more. Learn dog safety tips, see canine agility, Search and Rescue and therapy dog meet and greet, Canine Good Citizen tests, Ask the Vet booth, Parade of Breeds, free goody bags to the first 200 attendees. Free of charge, event held rain or shine. Good natured, friendly dogs on a leash are invited.

Went to this event last year - great time, lots of information on how to be a better pet owner. Plenty of rescue groups to learn about your favorite breed
