Paul Madonna & the Rumpus Celebrate "Small Potatoes" a weekly cartoon series: Opening Art Exhibit of large multi-panel cartoons June 12, 2009

Artist and writer Paul Madonna has partnered with the increasingly popular literary website, The Rumpus, to host the premier art exhibit of his new weekly cartoon, Small Potatoes, where rowdy potato people rant and fret, defying all human decency in Madonna’s articulate ink and watercolor drawings.

For the Ritual Roasters exhibit, Madonna has made a series of large-scale multi-panel cartoons, furthering his approach to comics as art. A perfect venue for Madonna’s Small Potatoes series, The Rumpus is an online magazine focused on cultural comment, daily publishing content on books, art, music, media, film, politics, and sex by professional artists and authors from around the world.
