Party in the Park June 5, 2010

Havant Borough Council is hosting its second Party in the Park event – a careers fair with a difference – at Havant Park on Saturday 5 June 11am – 4pm.

The event focuses on boosting skills and employability in the borough and kicks off at 11am with the careers exhibition marquee, then an official opening by The Mayor of Havant, Yvonne Weeks at 12 noon, and a presentation of achievement certificates to students followed by music from Music Fusion.

Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to various organisations on the day such as Hampshire County Council, the Army, Brendon Care, Wheatsheaf Trust, Job Centre Plus, a number of local colleges and Business Link, who will be offering help and advice on courses and job opportunities throughout the day.
